Solution Architect – Contract Role

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days on-site / 2 days remote)

Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential for extension

Stelfox is partnering with a leading organisation in Dublin to recruit an experienced Solution Architect for a high-impact contract role. This position offers the opportunity to design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across cloud and on-prem environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure.

• 
  
• Design and deliver robust, scalable architectures aligned to business and technology strategy
  
• Leverage Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Containers, App Service, Azure SQL, etc.) to build cloud-native solutions
  
• Create clear, well-structured architecture documentation covering systems, interfaces, and data flows
  
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Development teams to define and evolve cloud architectures
  
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional business requirements
  
• Conduct architecture reviews to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance capability, performance, and competitiveness
  
• Ensure all solutions comply with architectural principles, security standards, and technology strategy
  

• 
  
• 5–7 years’ experience in an architecture role, including at least 3 years focused on Azure
  
• Broad understanding of application integration, data platforms, infrastructure, networking, and AI
  
• Strong expertise across Azure IaaS and PaaS services
  
• Proven experience xcfaprz in solution design and technical leadership
  
• TOGAF, Zachman, or similar architecture framework certification
  
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline
  
• Azure Cloud Architect certification (desirable)
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
