Surgery - Vascular Physician

Seeking locum Vascular Surgery coverage with the option for a permanent position .
Coverage is needed 7 14 days per month on an ongoing basis .

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based vascular surgery

• 24-hour call coverage

• Adult and geriatric patient population

Facility Resources

• 1 standard operating room

• 1 Siemens hybrid OR

• 1 Siemens interventional radiology suite

• In-house hemodialysis access

• On-call vascular team Thursday Sunday

• Support staff includes trained team members and two surgical technologists

• No certified first assist

Procedures Required

• Aneurysm repairs (including abdominal)

• Arterial and peripheral bypass

• Vascular access devices and AV shunts

• Endovascular procedures

• Femoral-popliteal and aortofemoral bypass

• Stenting

• Reconstruction for deep vein occlusions

• Peripheral artery disease interventions

Credentialing

• Estimated timeframe: 90 days

Travel

• Lodging reimbursed up to a nightly cap

• Standard/economy travel expectations

Submission Requirements

• Board certified or truly board eligible

• Active Kentucky license (IMLC accepted)

• NPDB self-query dated within 30 days

• Flu vaccination required at credentialing

• COVID vaccination preferred
