This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with at least 1 year of civil engineering experience, ideally working on roads or large-scale civil infrastructure projects, to further develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and submission of interim valuations, variations, and final accounts Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow forecasts under the guidance of senior QS staff Support procurement processes for subcontractors and preparation of subcontract agreements Conduct site visits to verify progress and assist with valuations Liaise with site teams, project managers, subcontractors, and clients Assist in identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Ensure all commercial activities are carried out in line with company procedures Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering projects, preferably road or large-scale infrastructure Knowledge of cost management and contract administration within civil projects Ability to work on-site and collaboratively within a project team Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Benefits: xcfaprz Competitive salary of €35,000 €45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Pension scheme Exposure to large-scale road infrastructure projects Career development and progression opportunities within a leading civil engineering company If you are a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to gain valuable on-site experience on a major road infrastructure project in Maynooth, please send your CV or contact for more information.
