Engineering Lead / Manager

Our client, a leading organisation within the technology sector, is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead / Manager to head up a team of .NET developers within a cloud-first Azure environment. This is a permanent role based in Dublin City Centre.

• Lead and mentor a team of 10 software developers working in a Microsoft .NET and Azure environment.
  
• Drive the implementation of engineering best practices, ensuring high standards in coding, testing, and deployment.
  
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
  
• Oversee project planning, resourcing, and delivery within the development team.
  
• Champion Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications hosted on Azure.
  
• Guide career development for team members through regular feedback and performance reviews.
  
• Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning within the team.
  

• 
  
• Minimum 8 years' experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or people management capacity.
  
• Proven experience managing or leading teams in an enterprise environment.
  
• Strong background in .NET development and Azure cloud platforms.
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery methodologies.
  
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (React, Angular, etc.).
  
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
  
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
  
• Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised third-level institution.
  
• Salary Range: 100-120k plus bonus and pension and healthcare and many extras (total Package worth 150k)
