Security Engineer

A hands-on Security Engineer passionate about proactively strengthening security posture across a diverse customer base. Working closely with the Technical Director, Managed Services team, SOC, and customers, to drive strategic and operational security improvements across cloud and managed environments.

• Act as a 24x7 SOC escalation point
  
• Lead security agent rollout to ensure full customer coverage
  
• Collaborate with SOC teams to continuously improve threat detection and response capabilities
  
• Strengthen overall customer security posture through proactive monitoring and remediation
  

• 
  
• Develop and maintain best-practice security documentation for M365 environments
  
• Own security across M365 CSP tenants
  
• Implement and optimize security configurations as new M365 features are released
  

• 
  
• Conduct in-depth security assessments across existing and newly onboarded customers
  
• Identify risks, define remediation priorities, and present clear improvement roadmaps
  
• Lead implementation of security solutions across the customer base
  

• 
  
• Perform scheduled and ad hoc vulnerability scans
  
• Deliver actionable reports with prioritized remediation plans
  
• Execute remediation initiatives as part of structured security projects
  

• 
  
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer security layers
  
• Partner with sales teams to provide technical security expertise
  
• Engage directly with customers (including on-site meetings) to assess and improve their security posture
  

• 
  
• Align xcfaprz customer environments with industry standards such as the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Controls
  
• Collaborate on strategic rollout of security frameworks across the customer base
  
• Design and implement standardized security controls
  
• Support ISO 27001 certification initiatives in partnership with compliance teams
