Site Manager

We are working with a well-established organisation operating within the utilities and energy infrastructure sector, currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of a large, technically complex client site.

This is a senior, hands-on role with full responsibility for site operations, team leadership, and commercial performance, within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage the onsite team, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and compliance
• Act as the key point of contact for client stakeholders on site
• Oversee day-to-day technical operations across critical utilities infrastructure
• Manage subcontractors, cost control, and commercial performance
• Produce regular operational and financial reports
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with statutory, contractual, and corporate requirements

About You

You’ll bring a strong background in industrial or critical utilities, along with:

• An engineering degree (mechanical or electrical preferred)
• 10+ years’ post-graduate experience in utilities or energy centre environments
• Proven site management or supervisory experience
• Strong technical knowledge of systems such as HV/LV distribution, steam, boilers, water treatment, standby generation, compressed air, and automation
• Experience managing contractors, budgets, and client relationships xcfaprz
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Desirable qualifications include Six Sigma and formal supervisory or management certification.
