Principal Software Engineer – Hands-On, Cloud-Native Development

This position offers the opportunity to operate as a senior technical authority within a growing engineering team, combining hands‑on development with strategic technical ownership. You’ll be central in shaping architectural direction, driving engineering standards, and ensuring systems are built for long‑term scalability and performance.

You’ll work across modern backend services and cloud‑native infrastructure with tools such as NodeJS, AWS and cutting‑edge AI technologies, allowing you to apply your expertise to complex engineering challenges in a highly scalable environment.

• 
  
• 8+ years’ experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in Node.js
  
• Proven experience architecting and scaling distributed, cloud‑native systems (AWS preferred)
  
• Strong background designing microservices architectures
  
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding principles
  
• Based in Ireland with an EU Passport or Stamp 4 Visa
