Research-Square are partnering with a fast-growing high-tech scale-up that designs and builds a high-performance metrology system for the semiconductor industry. The company is pushing the boundaries of what is technically possible, making every day both challenging and exciting.

The (Senior) Assembly Engineering role offers a unique opportunity to grow alongside the company. You will play a key role in assembling delicate mechanical/electrical components and systems that are critical to advanced measurement tools.

As part of the Assembly, Integration and Testing team, you will work in an ISO-5 cleanroom, following precise assembly procedures and contributing directly to the quality and performance of cutting-edge semiconductor equipment.

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to technical drawings and instructions.
  
• Perform partial testing of subassemblies and systems.
  
• Ensure availability and quality of parts in line with required specifications and standards.
  
• Work safely and proactively identify and report potential hazards.
  
• Follow planning and deadlines and flag risks or potential delays.
  
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across disciplines and departments.
  
• Troubleshoot semi-finished products and systems.
  

• 
  
• Technical education: mechanical, electronics, electrical, mechatronics, physics or similar.
  
• Experience: 3-7 years hands-on experience.
  
• Working on complex systems: semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomy equipment, flight simulators, medical/laboratory equipment, optomechanical systems.
  
• Mindset: problem solving and pro-active mindset.
