GMC are currently looking for an experienced Planner to join our growing team in Dublin. The successful Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programmes across a range of infrastructure and utilities works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Experience working under NEC contracts is highly desirable.

• 
  
• Develop, manage, and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
  
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to produce realistic and achievable schedules
  
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and propose mitigation measures
  
• Prepare short‑term and look‑ahead programmes
  
• Carry out programme impact and delay analysis where required
  
• Support change management and compensation events (particularly under NEC contracts)
  
• Attend project and progress meetings, providing planning updates and reports
  
• Ensure programmes align with construction methodologies, procurement schedules, and resource plans
  
• Assist in the preparation of tender programmes and planning inputs for bids
  
• Maintain accurate planning records and reporting dashboards

• Degree or relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  
• Proven experience as a Planner within Civils and/or Utilities projects
  
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and methodologies
  
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
  
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
