Salary: Up to £42,500 per annum

What We Are Looking For

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Finance Manager to join our established team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and mentoring our Fostering Management Accounts Team, ensuring a robust control environment while maintaining the integrity of our financial accounts and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop trainee management accountants, fostering their professional growth.
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts for multiple entities, ensuring consolidation aligns with our month-end timetable.
  • Build effective relationships with operational partners by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Deliver high-quality financial commentary to the Senior Management Team.
  • Maintain balance sheet integrity in line with our reconciliation and substantiation policy, proactively addressing risks and issues.
  • Prepare monthly reports on balance sheet movements.
  • Ensure a strong control environment by collaborating with the business to uphold policies and procedures.
  • Support tax and statutory reporting to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
About You
  • Possess a relevant professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Be a confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Have experience in maintaining a robust financial control environment.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Bring previous leadership or people development experience to the table.
