Become an essential part of our logistics network as an Order Picker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! This role is fundamental to our success, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse using state-of-the-art scanning technology to locate and retrieve products for outgoing shipments. Your primary focus will be on efficiency and accuracy, ensuring that each order is picked correctly and prepared for the next stage of the logistics process. We are looking for energetic individuals who are comfortable with physical work and possess a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to the overall productivity of the facility. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict Safety guidelines and utilize provided PPE. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanning device.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to guidelines regarding the use of PPE at all times.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- This role involves frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order picking instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods and perform frequent bending and Lifting.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
