Join our dynamic logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is essential for accurately fulfilling customer orders and ensuring timely shipment of goods from our distribution center. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from inventory, verifying quantities, and meticulously packing them for safe transit. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and Safety. You will work within a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and equipment. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify product details, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate scanning devices to track inventory movement and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding warehouse areas.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet established productivity and accuracy metrics.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting, up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work overtime if required.
