Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accuracy? Our San Jose, California facility is seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders, carefully packaging them for shipment, and ensuring that all outgoing goods meet our quality standards. You will utilize scanning equipment and follow work orders to ensure order accuracy. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is crucial, as is adhering to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. This position requires a steady hand, good eyesight, and the ability to perform moderate Lifting. Experience with order fulfillment and warehouse operations is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they are in good condition.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate scanning equipment and update inventory systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing station and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order forms.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
- Understanding of logistics workflows.
- Must wear appropriate PPE.
