Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, organization, and storage of materials within the warehouse. Your duties will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure the efficient flow of goods. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be expected to strictly adhere to all safety protocols and wear the necessary PPE. This position is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting our extensive logistics network.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and warehouse locations.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
  • Organize and stack inventory in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and stage for put-away.
  • Assist with shipping processes, including picking and preparing orders.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
  • Support overall logistics operations and contribute to team objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
  • Experience with various types of material handling equipment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
