Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and stack materials to optimize space and ensure accessibility.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate material records.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of material handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines and using PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation:
This Material Handler position offers an excellent hourly rate of $20.50, with opportunities for overtime and potential for advancement within our logistics team.
