Job Summary:
Join our busy warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas, as a Material Handler! We are seeking individuals who are eager to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials, goods, and products within our facility. Key duties include loading and unloading shipments, operating forklifts and other equipment, and maintaining an organized stockroom. A commitment to Safety and attention to detail are paramount. You will be integral to our supply chain, ensuring that products are handled correctly from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other aids.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Strictly follow all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Support the receiving and shipping departments as needed to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Accurately record movement of goods and update inventory systems.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
