Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments, including documentation, labeling, and packaging.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and reconcile invoices.
- Inspect outgoing goods to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
- Operate shipping software and other relevant logistics systems.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to strict Safety guidelines and always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving operations as needed, including verifying incoming shipments.
- Support the logistics team in daily operations and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting tasks as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines.
