Become a key player in our e-commerce operations as a Fulfillment Associate in Omaha, Nebraska. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This role involves picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring correct labeling.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, including palletizing and staging.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely, as trained.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse orderliness.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of new inventory.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in a fulfillment or warehouse environment preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking and packing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding and adherence to workplace safety regulations, including proper PPE usage.
- Basic computer skills for using warehouse systems.
- Passion for logistics and efficient operations.
Working Conditions:
This role is based in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will be on your feet for extended periods and will be required to perform frequent lifting and manual tasks. Use of provided PPE is essential for your safety in this logistics role.
