We are looking for dedicated and efficient Order Pickers to join our Milwaukee, Wisconsin warehouse team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed are critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders promptly. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and all team members must strictly adhere to safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product numbers and quantities against order requirements.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and some lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations through accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for some lifting of products.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory flow.
- Willingness to follow all safety instructions and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
