We are hiring Warehouse Workers for our facility in the heart of New York City, New York. This position is key to the smooth operation of our logistics network, contributing to the efficient receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including order picking, packing, and staging. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be expected to follow all instructions carefully and work collaboratively with your team to meet daily targets.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Load and unload trucks, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock takes.
- Support the logistics team in various operational tasks.
- Perform tasks requiring manual lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for motivated individuals. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety protocols. Must be reliable and punctual.
