San Antonio, Texas is seeking an Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves. Your primary function is to ensure that the correct items are selected, prepared, and staged for shipment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a strong understanding of inventory management. We are dedicated to providing a safe work environment and emphasize the importance of Safety protocols and the use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory locations based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects before moving to the packing area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and pick paths.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other light equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for order picking.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes.
