Our growing logistics operations in Durham, North Carolina, are looking for skilled Warehouse Technicians. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery, as well as supporting general warehouse operations to maintain Safety and productivity. We require individuals with a strong technical aptitude, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to Safety. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment complies with safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Support the logistics team with material handling and inventory tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the correct and consistent use of required PPE.
- Tasks may involve moderate to heavy Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a warehouse technician, mechanic, or in a related technical role.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of warehouse machinery.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
