Seeking motivated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics operation in San Antonio, Texas! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse stock and packing them securely for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our distribution center. This is a physically active role that requires focus and a commitment to workplace safety. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Package products carefully and efficiently to prevent damage during shipping.
- Apply correct shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Stage completed orders in the designated area for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Follow instructions precisely to ensure order fulfillment integrity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability for frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and safety best practices.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow directions.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and using PPE.
