Join our thriving logistics team in Seattle, Washington, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to meticulously pick products for customer orders and accurately pack them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will be an integral part of the order fulfillment process, working in a dynamic warehouse environment. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will directly contribute to our success in the competitive e-commerce market.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order contents against the customer order to ensure accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Meet daily picking and packing targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Ability to handle lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of and adherence to warehouse safety protocols.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Good organizational skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
