Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
- Manage the return process for damaged or incorrect items.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize stock rotation and minimize obsolescence.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and status.
- Prepare inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Familiarity with Safety protocols and procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
