Responsibilities:
- Read and understand order pick lists or use a scanner to locate and retrieve correct items.
- Accurately pick items based on quantity and product specifications.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other lifting equipment safely.
- Verify picked items against order sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Package items appropriately for shipment, ensuring they are protected.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor immediately.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or replenishing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for counting items.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle repetitive lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines in a logistics environment is beneficial.
