We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. This role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, picking them according to order specifications, and packing them securely for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, fast-paced, and dedicated to maintaining high levels of accuracy and workplace safety. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets. This is an excellent opportunity to launch or advance your career in the logistics industry. Your day-to-day tasks will include navigating warehouse aisles, verifying product codes and quantities, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product conditions before packing.
- Pack orders safely and efficiently, ensuring products are well-protected during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outgoing shipments.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and surrounding warehouse areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Follow correct lifting procedures to prevent personal injury and damage to goods.
- Contribute to achieving daily picking and packing goals.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or general warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions and product information.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and order fulfillment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
