Join our logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Material Handler! In this role, you will be essential to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, moving, and staging materials and products efficiently and safely. This position requires physical dexterity, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding our high Safety standards. We provide all necessary PPE and ensure comprehensive Safety training. The role involves significant manual labor, including frequent Lifting and moving of items, and requires careful attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material placement. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Stage materials for production, shipping, or receiving.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of all materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Wear and use all mandated PPE correctly.
- Follow all Lifting procedures and guidelines to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements.
- Team player mentality and good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
