We are looking for motivated Order Pickers to join our thriving distribution center in Portland, Oregon! In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient retrieval of items to fulfill customer orders, playing a vital part in our logistics chain. Your day-to-day activities will involve using advanced scanning technology and pick lists to locate and gather products from our extensive warehouse inventory. Meticulous attention to detail is key to ensuring order accuracy and maintaining high customer satisfaction. We are deeply committed to workplace Safety, and all team members are expected to strictly follow established protocols and wear the necessary PPE. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to customer order specifications using RF scanners.
- Verify product identification, quantity, and condition prior to staging.
- Stage picked items in the designated consolidation areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in all picking activities to minimize errors.
- Contribute to inventory management through precise picking and reporting.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and Safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed daily order fulfillment goals within our logistics framework.
Requirements:
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and eye protection.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are essential.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse logistics is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as a proactive member of a team.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
