Seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our expanding logistics facility located in San Antonio, Texas. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in the order fulfillment process, accurately picking products from warehouse locations and packing them securely for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction. This fast-paced role requires individuals who are both organized and proactive. You will work as part of a cohesive team, contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This position involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs regularly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick items based on customer orders.
- Ensure the quality and quantity of picked items.
- Pack products efficiently and safely for shipping.
- Apply correct labels and ensure all shipping documentation is in place.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing areas.
- Follow all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and warehouse productivity.
- Support overall logistics objectives through accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or picker/packer experience is a plus.
- Strong ability to read and interpret order instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and reliability.
