Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock and inventory levels.
- Identify and report damaged or defective materials.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Perform regular inspections of material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring smooth material flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Commitment to wearing PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if needed.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
