Our St. Louis, Missouri distribution center is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. This position requires a proactive approach to tasks and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency in a logistics environment. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and productive workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks and perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to Safety and quality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a consistent attendance record.
- Familiarity with general logistics processes.
