Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity? We are hiring for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to work in our state-of-the-art distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse logistics, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. You will be a key player in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that materials are handled with care and precision. A strong emphasis is placed on adherence to safety regulations and proper equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and merchandise.
- Move materials from receiving to storage or from storage to shipping.
- Stack and retrieve supplies and materials.
- Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
