In this role, you will be instrumental in moving materials and products throughout the warehouse, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing stock, and using various equipment to transport goods. We emphasize a culture of safety and provide all necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any issues immediately.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
- Follow all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
