Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and stock inventory appropriately.
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from inventory.
- Package orders with care, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
- Label and stage orders for dispatch, coordinating with shipping carriers.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training available).
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding inventory, equipment, or safety to supervisors.
- Support the broader logistics network through efficient and precise work.
Qualifications:
Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are necessary. Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. A proactive approach to tasks and a commitment to safety are essential.
