As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and store materials within our warehouse facility. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely shipments. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Stack and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated experience.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
