We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our growing team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is essential for ensuring customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, verifying their accuracy, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists and scanning equipment.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and quality.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for carrier collection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and replenishment as directed.
- Contribute to overall team goals and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet performance targets.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Understanding of Logistics principles and warehouse Safety protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
