Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida! We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to expertly maneuver forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to transport materials, load and unload trucks, and maintain accurate inventory levels within our state-of-the-art facility. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our warehouse and plays a vital part in our overall supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to perform daily inspections of your forklift to ensure it is in optimal working condition, reporting any issues immediately. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position requires physical stamina for lifting objects up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities include:
- Safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and unstack pallets and other materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Conducting pre-operation checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through proper placement and scanning of goods.
- Following all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Adhering to all Lifting guidelines and protocols to prevent injury.
- Contributing to a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Understanding and implementing efficient Logistics practices.
