Role Overview: The Lead Data Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in shaping our data architecture. In this position, you will develop strategic plans for data warehousing, data acquisition, and managing data archiving and recovery processes. Your expertise will focus on building comprehensive data models, defining the structure, attributes, and terminology of data elements. You will design data ingestion processes based on best practices in data modeling as well as ETL/ELT methodologies, leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies. Additionally, you will evaluate new data sources to assess their quality and ease of integration, while ensuring compliance with robust data governance standards. You will set, promote, and uphold data architecture frameworks, including modeling, metadata management, security protocols, reference data, and master data systems. Your contributions will significantly influence future architectural strategies and best practices while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and other data professionals to deliver effective technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Clearly communicate the vision for the data management supply chain and its importance to business intelligence and data science. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data architecture and practices.
