Create, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to support analytics and product initiatives. Integrate data from various internal and external sources, ensuring seamless ingestion, transformation, and delivery. Help shape our data architecture, including data warehouse/schema design, storage solutions, and workflow orchestration. Optimize queries and storage performance for efficiency at scale, especially as data volume grows with our customer base. Implement data quality checks, monitoring systems, and troubleshooting tools to ensure data reliability and accuracy. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional partners to understand data needs and deliver timely solutions. Maintain clear documentation for pipelines, architecture decisions, and standards to support team alignment and onboarding. What will set you apart
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline from a top-tier university Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for building and optimizing data workflows. Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and toolchains (e.g., AWS, GCP, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift). Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, Prefect, or similar. Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts in large-scale environments. Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or evolving environments. Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and translating business needs into technical solutions. Experience working in fintech or other consumer-focused, high-growth technology startup environments. Benefits
