Your Role and Key Responsibilities: As a Lead Frontend Software Engineer in our Population Intelligence team, you will be instrumental in gathering and normalizing data from diverse sources. Your work will enable advanced decision-making, predictive analytics, and population health identification. In this role, your tasks will include: Leveraging your expertise in software architecture to design, develop, and debug software applications according to specifications.
Enhancing existing software frameworks while proposing improvements.
Applying your problem-solving skills in alignment with company policies and processes.
Key Qualifications: Proficient in frontend technologies like React, Preact, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and Oracle JET.
Skilled in a modern programming language such as Java, C++, C#, or Python.
Strong grasp of design patterns and SOLID principles.
Experience in creating maintainable, modular software.
Familiar with engineering best practices, including agile methodologies and code reviews.
Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Maven.
Comprehensive understanding of modern web application architecture from backend to UI.
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Able to build and sustain scalable enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
Basic understanding of Big Data processing tools like Spark and Hive.
Excellent communication abilities for both technical and non-technical discussions.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the field.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits: The U.S. hiring range for this position is $79,200 to $178,100 annually, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity. Our comprehensive benefits package includes: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
