Personal Support Worker (Bill 90)

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a part-time night shift Personal Support Worker (Bill 90). ** Completed AP/RPA training or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home **

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: One 5/14 night shift position, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
• Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
• Respond to all emergency situations
• While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
• PDSP training
• AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
• Law 90
