Nursery Manager

Salary: £31,500 Per Annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, all year round, Monday to Friday.

We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our dedicated team. As a Room Leader, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
• Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs.
• Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility within the team.
• Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children and staff.
• Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential.
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years – Essential.
• Over 6 months of experience in a senior position – Desirable.
• Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating – Desirable.
• Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS – Essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English – Essential.
