As a Microsoft and Cisco-focused organization, we specialize in secure, scalable infrastructure solutions that drive business performance and reliability for our clients.
We are seeking a Systems Administrator who excels in managing Microsoft environments while maintaining foundational networking knowledge to support Cisco-based infrastructure when needed.
Position Summary
The Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of Microsoft-based server and cloud environments across multiple client infrastructures. This role focuses on systems reliability, performance, security, and lifecycle management.
Network administration responsibilities are secondary and support-oriented, assisting with troubleshooting and maintaining Cisco network infrastructure as needed.
Primary Responsibilities - Systems Administration Administer and maintain
Windows Server environments
(2016/2019/2022) Manage
Active Directory , Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP Administer and support
Microsoft 365
(Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Manage
Azure / Entra ID
environments including user provisioning and identity security Configure and maintain
virtualized environments
(VMware and/or Hyper-V) Perform patch management, upgrades, and system lifecycle planning Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud transitions Document client environments and maintain technical standards Provide Tier II / Tier III support and escalation handling Secondary Responsibilities - Network Administration Support
Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of
Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls Support VLAN configuration and network segmentation Troubleshoot connectivity issues (VPN, routing, DNS resolution) Assist with firewall rule management and security policies Collaborate on network upgrades and deployments Support WAN/LAN infrastructure maintenance Required Qualifications
3+ years of Systems Administration experience (MSP experience preferred) Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Server environments Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V) Working knowledge of Cisco networking equipment Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs Experience with backup and recovery platforms Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple client environments simultaneously Preferred Certifications
Microsoft (AZ-104, MS-102, or equivalent) Cisco CCNA CompTIA Network+ or Security+ VMware VCP (preferred)
