Coinbase is actively seeking seasoned frontend engineers to join our team in developing the next generation of cryptocurrency applications and features. You will play a critical role in making cryptocurrency accessible to users worldwide. What you will be doing: Design secure, reliable services that integrate with blockchains and expand cryptocurrency assets across our various business units, including Coinbase, Pro, and Custody.
Create user-friendly interfaces for digital currency applications by enhancing existing cryptocurrencies with new features (e.g., staking, voting, predicting).
Develop infrastructural services that offer secure storage, accounting, and transactional capabilities to ensure safe asset transfers for our customers.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to develop a tangible roadmap that reflects our vision each quarter.
Bring positive energy to every meeting, fostering inclusivity during all interactions.
What we look for in you: A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including 4 years of developing web applications and launching user-facing features using JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks like React.
Proven ability to develop and deliver user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
Strong familiarity with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, emphasizing performance, security, and usability.
Experience collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout the product and design lifecycle.
A commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on frontend teams within the finance or security sectors.
At least 1 year of experience developing React Native mobile applications or migrating existing native apps to React Native.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
