Job Summary and Responsibilities
Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a full-time Breast Surgery Physician Assistant in Phoenix, Arizona
Non-operative care primarily in outpatient setting with possibility of rounding
In collaboration with the physician/medical director, assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within scope of practice
Work in collaboration with the attending surgeon
Responsible for performing new and established patient evaluations, reviewing pretreatment teaching,
recommending therapeutic intervention, counseling patients and families and collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice and in collaboration with the Breast SurgeonPrimary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients
Job Requirements
Master's Degree required. Graduate of accredited program for physician assistants
3-5 years clinical experience preferred
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
Registered in AZ as physician assistant
Hold and maintain national certification in PA area, under AZ regulations
American Heart Association BCLS
