Job Description
Ideas are the easy part; the "how" is where the magic happens. As a Solutions Architect at Razorfish, you are the master of the blueprint-designing the technical nervous systems that turn creative ambition into high-scale global reality.
At Razorfish, we don't just "deploy software"; we build Connected CRM and Commerce engines that drive meaningful human interaction. Your mission is to translate high-level marketing visions into precise, bulletproof technical specs. You are the critical link between the strategic roadmap and the final build, ensuring that every piece of the tech stack-from the storefront to the database-works in flawless harmony.
Responsibilities
The Master Planner: You will lead the deep-dive discovery sessions that turn "we want this" into "here is how it works." You are responsible for developing the Technology and Systems Blueprints that map existing business workflows into detailed technical requirements, implementation guides, and complex integration plans. The Collaborative Specialist: You don't work in a vacuum. You will partner closely with Enterprise Architects and key marketing stakeholders to validate that your solution doesn't just work-it fits. You ensure every design choice aligns with the broader enterprise architecture, adheres to strict global governance, and champions Consumer Trust and data privacy policies. The Scope Navigator: In the fast-moving agency world, the only constant is change. You will act as a technical advisor to client executives, managing expectations when marketing strategies shift. You are the voice of reason who assesses how changes in scope ripple through timelines, implementation efforts, and long-term operational costs, ensuring the project stays on the rails without sacrificing quality. Systems Orchestration: You will design the "pipes" of the ecosystem, specializing in the integration of MarTech and Commerce stacks (Salesforce, Adobe, etc.), API-first architectures, and headless commerce solutions. Qualifications
The Technical Craftsperson: You have a deep understanding of the modern digital stack. Whether it's Salesforce (Commerce/Marketing Clouds), Adobe Experience Cloud, or headless engines like commercetools, you know the configurations, the limitations, and the workarounds. The Blueprint Expert: You are a master of Data Modeling, API Design (REST/GraphQL), and Systems Integration. You can document a complex system flow so clearly that a developer knows exactly what to build and a CMO understands exactly what they're buying. The Executive Diplomat: You possess the "Agency Grit" and executive presence to sit across from a client VP and explain why a change in marketing strategy requires a recalibration of the technical timeline. You are a negotiator who finds the path forward when business goals and technical constraints collide. Privacy-First Mindset: You are well-versed in the "Trust Economy." You understand how to architect for GDPR, CCPA, and Zero-Party Data environments while still delivering high-performance personalization. Experience: 8+ years in software architecture or technical consulting, with a focus on large-scale CRM, Loyalty, or Commerce transformations. Additional Information
