Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Generate and verify shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-up schedules and delivery confirmations.
- Ensure orders are packed securely and appropriately for transit.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Keep the shipping department organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Uphold strict adherence to all company safety procedures and the mandatory use of PPE .
- Assist in resolving any shipping-related issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related warehouse role.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and packing.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
