Join our vibrant logistics team as an Order Picker in Los Angeles, California! This role is fundamental to ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately and efficiently fulfilling orders. You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating specified items using scanning technology, and preparing them for shipment. We are searching for energetic and detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the seamless flow of goods, ensuring order accuracy and timely dispatch. Working closely with other warehouse staff, you'll play a key part in our overall operational success. Strict adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products based on order lists or RF scanners.
- Transport picked items to designated staging or packing areas.
- Verify order contents against system requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed and trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and warehouse procedures.
- Consistently wear and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or Safety hazards.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- This role involves significant manual Lifting of items, up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and instructions.
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and manual Lifting.
- Commitment to Safety and following established protocols.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.
