We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and productive environment. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from designated areas, and performing routine inspections of the forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Adherence to all safety regulations and procedures is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and be committed to maintaining a safe working environment. We value individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times while operating machinery and working in the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and management.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
- Comply with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
